I’ve always marveled at how effortlessly you can whisk together just a few basic ingredients—flour, garlic, and parmesan—to create these delectable garlic parmesan dinner rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups warm water (95-105°F)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yeast (instant or platinum recommended)
  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (shredded or grated)
  • 2 teaspoons parsley

Instructions

  • Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add flour, salt, garlic powder, and Parmesan; stir until dough forms.
  • Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Divide dough into 12 equal pieces; roll into balls.
  • Arrange in baking dish; allow space for rising.
  • Cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
  • Brush with melted butter; sprinkle extra Parmesan and garlic powder.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
