Ingredients
1 package refrigerated pizza dough
1 pound ground beef
1 packet burger seasoning mix
6 slices crispy bacon, crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup pizza sauce
1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Drain any excess fat and stir in crumbled bacon. Return to low heat.
Remove from heat and fold in the shredded cheddar cheese. Let cool for about 5 minutes.
Roll out pizza dough and cut into 6 equal circles (about 5-6 inches in diameter).
Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the meat mixture onto one half of each dough circle.
Brush edges of the dough with beaten egg, then fold and press edges to seal.
Transfer to the baking sheet, brush tops with beaten egg, and bake for 15-20 minutes until browned.
Notes
Allow filling to cool for 10 minutes before assembling.
Double-seal by folding and pressing edges after crimping.
Reserve a handful of cheddar to sprinkle on the dough before adding filling.
Make a slit in the top of each pocket before baking.
